I got about 20 days on the proto slinger last season with the same atlas bindings. TJ is spot on as usual. I bought it for park progression but had an injury early on that made me rethink my goals for the sport. I rode this board very hard through the rest of the season in just about every terrain available and it really was impressive. Is there better for any specific type of riding, I'm sure, but it was just so much fun anywhere I took it and I didn't need to take any other boards with me. The board can lay over a carve and you can lick the snow if you want, or lean back and wheelie the entire downhill. Mogul fields are a blast but you'll feel a bit more of the late afternoon chop where a stiffer board would be better, but by that time my legs are gone anyways. I'll be starting this season on this board again and then will try out the 22 proto ultra limited and 19 swift I picked up during the summer. Here's to an awesome season everyone 🍺🤙

I have 4 156 boards already. Based on my specs of 5’9 175lbs boots 10 I should be riding the 156 NS Slinger. That said I want to use this board for riding trees and tight spots with maybe some small park. Would the 153 be alright or too small for me if I decide to ride the whole mountain?

Hey TJ, met you last year on Flyer and chatted about the new Atlas.

How would you compare this board to the Proto Type 2? I have been riding that board for sometime and everytime I try something else (Proto Ultra, Mercury etc), I keep coming back to it. I think it's the most versatile board they made and wish they kept it in the line.

Everything listed in this board is in pretty much every other board. Different companies just give them different names. Neversummers are heavy but durable boards

why does your board have a red base ? The 2023 Prot Slinger should have a black/white base.
