Justin knew exactly what he was signing up for as a member of the Marching Hornets. He knew that he would not be copying JSU at ASU. He knew how Dr. Oliver ran his program. He opted for something different because learning new skills and discipline is how you get ahead in this world. As he has said before, "When you fit in, you disappear." He's still winning and he gets to perform excellent field shows with the HoneyBeez, too. This is a learnable moment in time.

The ladies are amazing, they’ve got the guys out front but they know they’re the real attraction. So composed and professional in their demeanour, yet slinky and busting out the moves in great synchronisity. It’s a win to the ladies.

I'm happy to see Justin aka vanilla funk achieved his dream. I stumbled upon a video of him the went viral when he was still in high school drum major. Now he is a part of my all time favorite ASU Marching band. All the best to ya'll!

The fact that the band has to form a shield around the stingettes is just mind blowing to me. I'm glad they protect them though but they shouldn't have to. And I am an HBCU grad from the south so I know how people act.
