Please note, the Hadith about travelling alone is subject to difference of opinion depending on the circumstances. Regardless, it goes without saying, we are always safer from the Shaitan when accompanied by righteous people on a journey. Safer spiritually and physically.

I really believe point #3 regarding speaking about intimacy with a husband or a wife is prohibited to OTHER PEOPLE. He did not mention "other people" so it cause a lot of confusion. I think it need to be rectified. Wallahu hu a'lam..

That is true! About travelling I have to go to university by bus it's a 1.30h trip but very straight forward. A guy from my class whom I was friendly with as in sending him lesson files when he missed them said he had some questions and needed help but then tried to take me intentionally to a place with not a lot of people and I was very uncomfortable and suggested going to the library if it was urgent since its crowded all the time but he didn't want to then preceded to ask very uncomfortable questions. I cut all connection with him be careful sometimes they take kindness and politeness as an invitation

How does is work for reverts who aren’t married in areas where there are no other muslims?

Hearing this makes so much sense of the torments subhanAllah. Every time I go to the shop there’s something. It feels like the shayateen are everywhere (Authu Billahi min ash shayataan irajeem!) So I stay home as much as I can but it’s having an effect of my confidence and making the journey very lonely. Although, hasbunAllahu wa ni’mal wakeel ☝🏼🤲🏼

I know of many sisters in this situation. It felt like we were forgotten about during lockdown and the Ummah focussed on their families and we’ve been left behind subhanAllah. I know that’s not the case, but it feels this way. We had no choice due to the circumstances. But please remember us now and reach out to your brothers and sisters who are alone still and having to recover from being alone for over 18 months at such a vital stage in their journey.

May Allah swt help us and put good Muslims in our path. Allahumma Ameen ya Rabb’Al Al’Ameen

Wherever you go Allah is with you. Even if you are alone. It depends upon your relationship with Allah. Sometimes you need to be very very very alone to be true with your Lord. And it's better to be with someone who is close to Allah rather than with a bad friend or company.

A lot of people here questioning what's wrong with traveling alone, well that shows how naive people are! And traveling here means a proper travel, not your errands to nearby shops or daily morning walks. Traveling to different & places far away from your house is a stressful, time consuming thing and you never know what situation you can find yourselves in, so traveling as group would distribute the burden and also help you with good company that, for ex: reminds you for prayer on time, and because you're in good company you'd not be tempted to sin or do something which you'd have done otherwise etc and list goes on.. just because u don't do it and can't comprehend it's hikmah u can't say "oh it's just a recommendation", and it's not beneficial or something similar.
And women especially should not travel without a mahram..for their own safety. No matter how much u try there's always the uncertainty and vulnerability because not everyone believes & fears Allah, to not harm you!

My husband travelled alone with his married female coworker to Germany. I could not go because I was taking care of my father with terminal cancer, my elderly mother had many TIAs (mini strokes that destroy cognitive ability) and I had to care for his elderly father. ONE MONTH AFTER THAT GERMANY TRIP THEY AGAIN WENT ALONE TO LAS VEGAS. THEIR AFFAIR STARTED THERE.
