Sometimes we are so afraid to accept the reality so we hold on to past emotions which eat us up and cause a lot of stress and negative thinking.

If you’re breaking up with someone, try to be considerate about how you end the relationship. Always think about how you would want to be treated in the same situation. Try to end things in a way that respects the other person but be honest. Be clear and tell the other person why the relationship is over. Understand that the other person might be hurt and possibly angry about your decision. Try to end the relationship in person if it’s possible, rather than by text or online.

Oh my gosh, I can truly relate to this. I didn’t even know that I was doing this I love what you said about thinking it was them, but it might be me using them as a way of holding on to the survivor mode. I can’t explain it, but it’s so true I need to free my own self, and truly let go because I do think about what I don’t want more than I think about what I do want, which is a loving healthy relationship with a godly man think about how beautiful that’s going to be and what I deserve I shouldn’t keep thinking about stuff that bothers me concerning him if he will reach out if he will keep contacting me when I don’t want him to. Cutting off a super strong connection. Ive out grown him but he is extremely attached. I tried cutting him off years ago and he cried lol. I feel ive out grown him fully now. I dont want him in my energy anymore. I wana cut the cords. We are friends with deeply strong attachments. Mine are shown on the surface, his is shown deeply and shown when i try to break free.
