Paul, I’ve been seeing your videos for a long time and I have to say that you are the best teacher here on YouTube. I’ve seen plenty of tutorials but yours are pretty much inspiring to me. I just want to say thank you.

Definitely you're the most didactical and academic teacher on internet. I always encourage my students to watch your videos. Thank you very much, Sir.

I was watching a show and they were talking about Brahms. It made me question why I never picked up any of his pieces. I like this the most, out of the 6 pieces.

That was such a moving rendition I must get the Sheet music and learn it - I have been following your channel for a long time and you have taught me such a lot not just on learning new pieces but also to rethink the way I have been playing. In the past years I limited my repertoire but now thanks to you I have ex-banded it very much over the past 3 years

I enjoyed hearing your interpretation of one of Brahm’s most introspective pieces. That said, there are so many inner voices and hidden melodies that yearn to sing throughout this piece. You hint at a few of them, and I’d love to hear your thoughts sometime — perhaps in a tutorial on this piece — as to how one should approach the challenge of finding the right balance for this aspect of Brahms

Bravo, j'ai découvert cet intermezzo il y a longtemps, joué par Glenn Gould. C'est un morceau très beau, romantique. 🙏

One of my favorite works for piano. I also love Shostakovich Concerto No. 2.

Fabulous ! One of my my favourite pieces of Brahms with concerto no1 . What I find fascinating is that Brahms was an ardent supporter of absolute music ie music that is not supporting a theme or a story but speaks by itself . As a matter of fact, this intermezzo brings so many images and scripts in my head . It could be used as a soundtrack in many movies . Actually I can definitely find a link between ´once upon in America ´ theme and op 118 2 .
