I have compiled 5 books about critical thinking and religion history showing that religions are cultural artefacts, and I have already 5x times more pages and facts than the entire Bible collection. Amen.

wait til you find out how many episodes of spiderman there are, hundreds probably, and star trek, which is obviously a true story sent back in time from the future.

Grace and Peace to you.

How would you respond to those who say that the Quran is better preserved than the Bible?

Why stop at 4? The Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of Mary were core Christian books for centuries.

Not one of the books in the bible were written FOR THE BIBLE. The bible wasn't even a concept when those books were written. Over the centuries, they were collected, weeded through to eliminate the stories that didn't support the 'church' as it was at that time. The bible of today really didn't come around until the 1300s. Also, the similarities and differences in the gospels are most likely due to them being 1) plagiarized as was common during that period. 2) embellished to aggrandize the stories or put a local cultural twist to the story. Or 3) assign divinity where none is truly present. There isn't any reason to think or believe that these stories were inspired by a god.

You're conflating completely different things. You're treating the Bible as a single thing. Or even the New Testament as a single thing. Instead it's a whole lot of books written over the course of a century or two. The ones you're comparing it to are single books. So you'd need to compare say the Gospel of John to Josephus.

You're also comparing something like the Iliad, which was an oral story for centuries before being written somewhere about when Genesis was written, to the books of the New Testament.

Finally, no one's living their lives or trying to force others to live their lives according to Plutarch or Pliny.

I don't disagree with your assertion that the words in the modern NT are fairly accurate to how they were written, but your arguments are fundamentally flawed, whether through ignorance or simply being disingenuous.

@JulianGentry What do you mean by "existing copies"?
Every written work has only one original, anything beyond that is a copy
