The 3024 Mentoring Program is based on Martyn's holistic approach to music-making and helps producers of all experience levels to find their own voice and develop it. The program has become a vibrant community of producers, dj's, radio makers exchanging ideas and creative energy. This spawned the idea of the three-part compilation "It Was Always There".

Testament to the genre-bending style of 3024, "It Was Always There vol 2" is the second installment of this 28-track project and features a deeper dive into the wealth of new and exciting sounds the program has to offer. Washington DC based James Bangura kicks off the comp with a floaty house roller, followed by the contemporary rave interpretations of Destrata and Stacie-Anne Churchman. Hare in Flight, Jasmín and Hekkla all take a more meditative approach to the dance, and Beyun and Dan Only's work are heavily influenced by the fundamentals of techno. Blood Trust's track is an ice cold drum 'n bass roller and closer "Marbella" by Sansouni is so airy and beautiful it almost lifts off by itself.
