One time I went to a gas station to get gas I had my cat with me before I got out the car I looked at my car and she was hiding my cigarette lighter I thought she was just playing, I paid for gas and pumped it into the car, I get in and took off my cat brought the lighter back and put it next to the pack of cigarettes.
I looked at her and she said meow, she's done this 3 times next time I'm going to record it.
My point is how can a cat know that fire and gas don't mix but a grown woman doesn't.
