How to use metal body filler such as metal to metal of all metal filler for filling pinholes, or over fresh welds while restoring a classic 1967 Pontiac Firebird 400.

Using a metal body filler is a bit more work than just standard body filler or bondo, but take your time and you might just like to use metal body filler when you need to.

I am working on my 1967 Pontiac Firebird, restoring it to a daily driver condition, I hope you subscribe and follow along on my journey.

Got something you want me to try out on a future video? Send it to me.

Looks good! I'll be doing this work on my roof seam soon. I want to pull the dents and clean up the welds as best I can first.

Great stuff but hard to sand just need it in the joints not to fill it seals the welds fill with body filler over it and smooth it done👍👍👍

I've seen the same exact Can you have in your hand now and it's like 70 bucks for it. I'm not interested in getting ripped off so like I said. I'm looking at another metal-to-metal that ever coat offers. And it's around 38 bucks.
I hope its good stuff !! But it's made by the same company. So I wouldn't see why it wouldn't be.

I used the exact same stuff you used on your sale panel and when I used it. It was around 50 bucks and it's good stuff. But now I'm gonna check out Another metal-to-metal made by the same company.. It's metal the metal and it is not quite as much as this specific Can that you have in your hand?

A lot of work in the heat you have to put up with. I have the exact opposite problem- it was -53 the other day.

just thinkin about doing that easier. a belt sander to get into the curves would make life easier. but that dowel does work.

i does not last long in the can though if you open it and close it months later it will be hard as a rock and you will have to get another can unlike the fiber glass bondo.

More like plastic to metal it might have a dusting of metal in it.

I’m just learning about this metal body filler. Anyone out there that can explain the benefits over bondo?

What drops are you adding to the filler?

You gotta get it as smooth as you can then finish with good filler.

How much to fly you down to finish my body work? It’s only 103 in my neck of the woods 😂

It's filled with aluminum not steel. So your magnet is sticking to the metal underneath.
