I have been chasing this problem for weeks. I replaced the bulbs, tested the fuses, checked the wires. This fuse tested good but the corrosion was the problem. THANK

For you poor folks that go looking all over without any information where in the hell is the dual fan fuse. Well look no more it's right in front of you third red wire from the left 50amp it's tied into the buss bar. Your choice to replaed the whole buss bar or just remove the buss & black cover lay flat solder it back together. It's simple. Disconnect your battery first. 😮 Stay safe

Why did the fuse burn out? Test that first so you don’t just burn out the new one.

If it works it’s because you haven’t used all the circuits it protects. Eventually it will blow again. In the dark somewhere if it’s your headlights.

BMW has burned up light issues too. Crappy designs. The heat erodes the wire casing and they arc out.

From the last week I have multiple errors from Being starting the engine with loud long single alarm, than ESB, ABS light on, its saying Auto Hold is not working, than saying The tires monitoring pressure is out, the Cruse control is out.. than after a while all errors gone, everything back to normal until a few hours later or the next days.. i have no idea what was wrong just thinking all those errors come from single point which may only one sensor..
Update: it was from ABS sensors ;)

I wonder if this fuse box issue could cause the stereo to stop working? I’ve had a third stock stereo just randomly stop working. Replacing the fuses has not helped. Each one has been non-responsive.
(I’m now facing buying a third replacement of the same stereo, because they’re cheap and available, but I’d prefer something that will not breakdown again. Any recommendations?)

Thanks a million you really helped after too many trying times to find a cause. Can you advise the reason for that and if changing the fuse only is safe or i have to check something else to avoid higher damage ?

Mine is a polo TSI 2014. It makes crazy, the wiper blades won't stop running and if they do they stop completely. Now it's the headlights😢

Thanks for the video.
I have a P0691 error on a Golf V petrol. The engine light is always on.
Do you think it could be that fuse and too?
Or where i should look?
Thank you very much

My Audi A3 1.2tfsi 2011 did a 150km trip with no problem (hot day !! +30°C + Sun). At the end at the day he refused to turn on, I got crank and batterie but no kabum😢. That fuse didn’t blow but was melted, my guess is that the heat melted the fuse and the fuse box, forming a black “burned” layer around the fuse stopping the connection or ignoring the fuse and doing god knows what to the car 😢.

Help ?

2014 era f150s had a similar issue with the fuel pump fuse, ford didn’t do a recall but did a tsb “if” it came in move fuse to another location with provided kit…….”if” was 96% of that era truck, why recall when it would shut down at high speeds? Nah it’s fine
