HOW TO: Shimano SLX Brakes // Install & Bleed

Full install of new Shimano SLX BR M7100 MTB brakes. Unboxing, required tools, installation, shorten brake lines, bleed the levers.

This tutorial is for SLX brakes, but the process is similar for all Shimano MTB brakes including XT and XTR.

For the bleed is better remove brake pads and push the piston back, insert che the bleed block to lock the pistons. Connect the Shimano funnel with oil and press lever . When you don't see air bubble, remove the funnel with oil, remove the bleed block, reinstall the brake pads and done.
