I got them in 2.2 for a lifted TRX for trail/woods driving and they do awesome, they are bigger than other 2.2's I have, had to trim the Blazer body a little but can hardly tell and was well worth it....

Up here in Minnesota these are the perfect snow wheeling tire. Give them wheel speed and brushless power = fun.

My basecamp has become my favorite do it all rig.

You should do a video showing you whole rc collection! Would love to see them all in one place

I see a tire test between the the baja pro's and the ruptures coming soon.

I've been thinking about those tires for my TRX-6... or maybe Ruptures. I have the Fusion Pro in my Base Camp too, along with Treal portal weights and 6% overdrive. I also added the Rock Pirates RC shock towers and rock sliders. That Fusion Pro is just amazing. SOOOO smooth. Major bang for the buck for crawlers. I have those same wheels on mine too, in black with BFG Krawlers right now.

You have way more than enough room to gear-up with 2300kv and the crazy low rpm the Fusion has to be able to do 12-15mph and still have a crazy low start-up.
You know RC4WD, Boom and Jconcepts make these Mickey Thompson Baja Pro X. Should test all of them.

I love these tires! I mean if your running straight concrete yeah hyraxes do great. But my choice of tires r the pro x’s and squid inserts! Gonna get another set after Christmas. I have the 1.9’s on my lcg and I’ve got the old school hb rovers on the Capra.. but it’s definitely getting pros! I want to see how much that changes it n the terrain I run against the white dots.! Great video man keep up the good work!

Those tires are sick. You should put a Rock Pirates RC Interceptor chassis on this base camp.

Yeah all that on cliffhanger... my steering servo would never allow. Still debating between the 422 or 444

Great video man. I've been looking forward to seeing these tires in action and I'm impressed! A little big for my Base Camp but need them for my Capra haha

(Update) - I just finished and hour and a half with the SCX6 Honcho on Pro Line Hyrax G8 compound stuffed with the 3BRC Anti-Foams and have the following observations; 1. As would be expected the anti foams function the same as the steady foams on smooth vertical climbs. 2. The Anti-foams really excel when you need a front tire to hook to a ledge and allow those back tires to help move the truck forwards/upwards. 3. As mentioned below, the Anit-foams do not fill the tire sidewalls out as much as the Steady foams but it didn't have as negative effect as I was thinking on those "V" crack climbs. 4. I did complete two climbs with the Anti-foams which have eluded me with the Steady Foams. In conclusion and IMHO, the Anti-Foams are awesome and great for wet conditions and climbing where tire hooks are needed a lot. For the money, you can get two sets of Steady Foams for the price of the Anit-Foams----so as always, it's up to you and what you're willing to spend for the "slightly" better climbing and wet condition performance. I now have the Hyrax/Anti-foam set of tires as well as the stock Falkens with the Steady Foams----both of which are "much" better than the OEM foams which come with the truck. If you're only doing trails and no rock climbing, you can get by with the stock foams for awhile. Sorry for the novel and I hope this helps anyone who may be on the fence about any of the products listed (end update).

I inadvertently bought the 2.2s for my Capra which are too big and make the Capra look more like a rock bouncer. That said, I put the 2.2s on my highly modified Danchee Ridgerock and although they look a little big, they made the old goat climb like a new and improved goat. The Danchee is already a very good climber and is now an outstanding climber. It will hold a 52 degree side hill as well as a 60 degree vertical (as tested in my basement on an outdoor carpet platform). I also bought the RC4WD Mickey Thompson Baja Pro X's for the Capra. They are very sticky but as you mentioned earlier, the large outside lugs are a bit soft and fold under without offering much bite. They are still a great tire but not quite as good as I hoped. All this said, I have the Pro-line Mickey Thompson Baja Pro Xs on the way and I'm really excited to see how they do on the Capra. All of the rocks around here are quartz or granite and can be pretty slippery. Finally, I've had great luck with Pitbull Growlers in the Komp formula. Not a competition tire but all of my rigs love those tires. Lastly I promise, I just put the 3BRC Anti foams in my SCX6 with Pro line Hyrax tires and will take them out for a spin today in the 45 degree temps. I notice right away they don't "fill out" the side walls as much as the Steady Foams and I'm sure I'm gonna miss the extra width when crawling up a "v" crack. I bet the old wheels will look pretty beat up in no time at all. Happy crawling!
