Meaning of the Double Headed Eagle - ROBERT SEPEHR

The double-headed Imperial Eagle was in the coats of arms of many German cities and aristocratic families in the early modern period. A distinguishing feature of the Holy Roman eagle was that it was often depicted with haloes. In Byzantine heraldry, the double-headed eagle (or double-eagle) is a charge associated with the concept of Empire, but how far back does it go and what was its original meaning?

Bravo Robert this one was so interesting and informative, I truly appreciate your work! As an 8 year old kid I read these books by this YA author Christopher Pike in his series The Last Vampire. He had many esoteric topics in most of not all his books. The protagonist in the last vampire series is Sita a 5000 year old vampire who was from India with blonde hair blue eyes and of the indo aryan peoples of India from thousands of years ago. I researched it myself later on in my life because I loved all his books, even to this day!! You’re the only archeologist I’ve ever heard who has even mentioned the indo aryan people of India. Just fascinating!

Hmmm l can't speak for other cultures but my Albanian Roots I have studied in depth. This is interesting since their national symbol and name is Eagle but Snake is a venerated and it's forbidden to kill. It's called the House Serpent and this knowledge is carried from generation to generation as a tradition that is still alive. Basically it's believed that every house has a Snake ( called with different names depending on regions ) and this snake protects the home therefore the family. It's also a harbinger.

I used to have an old Goose just like him!! His name was Jeb! His girlfriend was those crazy geese were so so funny!
One of the ducks used to swim around him in circles and he would get dizzy watching him he'd fall over drunk!!
