In this Video, we will explore a very different & unique beach of Oman called Al Sawadi Beach. This popular tourist destination is on the route of Northern shores of Oman between Sohar and Muscat. Conveniently located at a distance of 110 kilometres, the drive from Muscat to this beautiful beach is about 1 hour. From Muscat airport, it takes about 45 mins to reach here.
The long stretch of this beach is famous for its colorful shells, which attracts tourists from Oman and many other countries.
Its a must visit place for any one who is fond of beaches. The beach is surrounded by many small Rocky islands which gives the perfect opportunity for snorkeling and diving.
There are variety of other activities which can be done on this beach like Kite Surfing, Boat tours, Island hoping, Fishing, Camping. During the low tide, when the water recedes, the locals love to drive on the beach with their fancy cars, 4 wheel SUVs & even ATRs.
The atmosphere during the weekend and evening is totally buzzing and the entire area is flooded with families and younger crowds.
