CNN's Nick Paton Walsh explains the situation.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday vowed harsh punishment for the organizers of an armed rebellion spearheaded by mercenary chief Yevgeny Prigozhin, who led his troops out of Ukraine and advanced toward Moscow.

Putin denounced the uprising as “a stab in the back" in an address to the nation. It was the biggest threat to his leadership in over two decades in power.

Does this Walsh guy know anything? Obviously he did not know why Wagner troops marched to Voronezh without any fighting, did not know why people are not scared if big battles are coming. He cannot explain why people are friendly to Wagner soldiers while majority of them still support Putin.

The truth is that the Wagners are not really rebelling, they just wanna voice their frustration and discontent with the Russia Defense Dept. Common folks kinda understand that and sympathize that. That's why the tension is low in occupied cities like Rostov and Voronezh.
