I have been running in mizuno for about 10 years. And I prefer the inspire 16/17. I miss the support. The 18s feel a bit too soft. Basically I’m not enjoying my runs in them. Hopefully the 19 will be more like the usual mizuno.

Tx for great info!

True - Inspire 9 from many years ago were a lot less steep, IIRC 9mm vs current 12 or so. Which is a notable difference IMO.

12mm drop is gnarly. Isn’t that just a crutch? ie your Achilles/triceps will not properly develop.
