Join Zoe and Nick, creators of Codecademy's course Learn How To Code, as they re-build one of their favorite interactive websites from the course!

In a pair programming session, they'll introduce you to the basic HTML and CSS behind the site and walk you through the JavaScript that makes it interactive. By the end of the session, you will have built an app designed and built by Curriculum Developers, currently used in a live Codecademy course!

I'm on the 'pair programming' section of the Front End pathway on Codecademy. It references this old video as an example of pair programming. I am not really sure how this is a good example - there didn't seem to be clear navigator/driver roles; Nick seemed to be playing both roles more often than not. They also didn't swap roles.

After this "example" I am not a fan of pair programming - I think this code would have been written in half the time with just one of them.

As an aside - at the point of the pathway we are told to pair and given this video link, we have only learnt vanilla JavaScript, so I wasn't able to follow.
