Introduction:
AS15-G is identified as 14 channel voltage buffer IC for gamma correction of TFT (Thin Film Transistor) LCDs (Liquid crystal displays). AS15-G has inbuilt VCOM amplifier and several voltage buffer amplifiers. And ten buffers with amplification as well. AS15-G is an application specific integrated circuit. AS15-G comes in TQFP package with a pin count of 48 pins. This TFT reference driver is designed to optimize the space in the LCD driver board while minimizing the thickness of the IC as well. This help to keep the overall thickness of the LCD display to a minimum amount. You can see the physical appearance of the AS15-G TFT LCD driver IC in below image.

Applications:
AS15-G is used in industrial and domestic consumer electronics where TFT LCDs are involved as mentioned earlier.
