Panic purchases in Japan amid COVID-19 scare

A day after Japan announced the suspension of schools, people rushed to stock up on basic necessities, mostly toilet paper and tissue, on top of masks. People are also reacting to rumors that paper materials are being diverted to the production of more masks.

I thought that the bidet does the job of toilet paper.

Just put up UV lights everywhere and turn them on at night or during a low use time, also use a robot to spray ALCOHOL on high contact areas

I went to the shop today and I wanted just 4 rolls of toilet paper because I ran out...there was nothing on the shelves. Japanese are going crazy for toilet paper buying more than they need. It kinda piss me off because what about people who actually NEED that toilet paper?? They should limit the number of packs per person really cause it will cause many people go without toilet paper while others have ten packs they don´t even need.

My mum always said the best invention she saw in her day was toilet paper. She was born in 1932 and toilet paper wasn’t mass produced, so when it hit the shelves she knew it was the best invention!
