I have three supportive comments:
1) I know how it would be HARD to correct the M(f) and x(f) on the axis.
2) why are you adding the deltas on fc and -fc !?
3) We can use this method on voice signals because it ranges from 300 to 3400 Hz which would have a gap in its modulated frequency spectrum. the gap is [fc-300, fc+300].
