I got it right—worked out what the clue was referencing, then moved into astronomy from there. And I love that Raymond immediately gave Juveria a hug. It’s wonderful to see people lose gracefully and congratulate the winner. :D

Wow, I'm impressed! I actually got this one wrong! This show has been dumbed down so much that I Get more right than I do wrong.

I knew it was Herschel, but I was struggling to come up with the names of the moons because I thought that was what they were asking for.

When he discovered the planet, he originally called it George.

This is perhaps the most excited I've been for a final in one of these tournaments in a VERY long time! I am rooting for Roger, but I genuinely love all three of these players and would be happy if any of them won. I could certainly see it lasting a full 4 games!

I got as close as Astronomy and Shakespeare, but couldn't come up with anyone in that time frame.

I knew it was Dr Herschel he and Dr Hubble discovered the outer moons. Two of our greatest observatories are named after them.

Correct play, correct astronomer, correct satellites... wrong planet.
Edit: the look on her face was priceless! 👍

Wow that was a giant field to pick out of all things astronomy

I kinda wish there was a “ZergCam” on Juveria when she saw Raymond not get it 😅

The discoverer of Uranus. I'll be honest, I laughed at that.

I was going to guess Shakespeare at first, but then I looked at the year: 1787. Then I thought "Who discovered Uranus?" and got it from there

So glad that Juveria won today. She and Ray, both from the Greater Toronto Area.

This is so much better than Dumb Jeopardy (the pop culture one).

My finals predictions are Matt for first, Roger for second, and Juveria for third.

Based on resumes I’d say she’s the dark horse for the finals, but I really hope she can pull off an upset for the ages. From Second Chance all the way to Masters would be quite the tale.

Congratulations juveria on advancing to the jit finals

I had the right idea, but picked arguably the most famous person in that field even thought the timeframe was off.

Final Jeopardy: 4/5 Stars

Title:
Nothing confusing about it.

Clue: A little busy.

Fairness: 👍
Two contestants correct.

Time: Ok

Fun Factor: OK, but clueless.

Yet another example of a Final Jeopardy clue that points to the post-Trebec era. Nothing against Ken Jennings, he does a fine job as host. However, these Final Jeopardy clues are either so simplistic that almost anybody with a function brain will know the question, or, the contestants damn near need a PHD in the specific area of discipline to answer correctly. Also, and I will never stop saying this...the clues are horrifically poorly worded.
