Stunning Rare Vintage 1960's Jndiana VIRGINIA Italian stainless Stiletto Switchblade Flick Knife. Stamped: VIRGINIA INOX. Push Button With Sliding Safety. One Piece Spring System Jndiana or Indiana Cutlery was a merchandising company manufacturing through Maniago Italy cutlery contracting. Originally started in the 1960's by the brothers Edgardo and Carlo Siega Battel for the European market in response to new American switchblade laws. The company logo was an Indian Chief's head inside of a triangle and tang stamps included the name Virginia or Jndiana Cutlery (J is often substituted for I in Mediterranean script). The Jndiana Cutlery Company had a large repertoire of cutlery types including deerfoot bolsters, hunting knives with shotgun shell puller bolsters, an automatic Corsican vendetta knife, fulcrum locks and were in the forefront of the Swinguard model. There was a steady decline in the market from the 1970's until the internet helped connect aficionados and collectors with the original manufacturers.

I watched this video but got distracted and forgot to respond. I dig old classic knives. I almost cringed when I thought you might have broken it demonstrating the safety lock and trying to close it with the lock engaged. ;-)

The knife looked very old, I have been restoring it and I would really like to know what year my model could be? Or maybe it's a fake.... could you help me with that?
