Surveillance footage shows woman giving birth alone in Denver prison cell

A woman who gave birth alone in her prison cell in Denver is suing the city. Diana Sanchez's legal team allege that jail deputies and nurses ignored her pleas for help during five hours of labour

i don't care what she is in jail for this is grossly unacceptable. she should have been sent to the hospital. that's, not even sanitary conditions for the baby to come out. smh. what has this world come to. they need to fire all the who staff who worked that shift, especially that woman guard. sheesh.

In case you're wondering, she did win her law suits and she got $320, 000 for her and her son for compensation from the jail and the city paid her $120, 000. So at least she got some money to better her and her son's lives
