The Lightroom/ACR masks are ALL incredible and have completely changed/improved my post processing activity... in photos for real estate, portrait, street and landscape.

This is the VERY FIRST release that makes it possible for me to avoid having to Finish post in PS

Really looking forward to working through the course. I love ACR (and Bridge) but there is so much I know I don't know! Thank you!

Hi, first thing to say is that, not only do I appreciate the information and knowledge you share in your videos, but I also love your enthusiasm! I have a question - is there an automated method to create and apply luminosity masks to multiple images in Lightroom? AI? I am trying to speed up and simplify my workflow. At the moment I have to blend layers in Photoshop with manual luminosity masks, sort of as a manual HDR blending 3 images rather than a single exposure. I've been trying to send images off to a retoucher recently but the results have not been good. Thanks!

WOW!!! I've only used camera raw in a very limited capacity when doing post work for my 3D digital art and had no idea this was possible! Guess I'm gonna have to watch more tutorials!!!

I just discovered the option 'create separate masks' ...
Thanks for your video!

Okay, I have to agree. This is cool! But, I've been spamming them for years to add the ability to import masks from Ps. This is what I need most in my workflow. Masking is still very limited in CRF.

I saw this from another PS presenter but your how-to was so clear. Got to try this!! Thanks!

I've recently been playing with this and I like that in LR I just edit one image the way I want and I can paste the whole edit to dozens and dozens of other photos. Got 30 photos to edit? Boom, done.

Great video! Is there a way to bring these masks into Photoshop?

QUESTION: Can you make changes to a preset (applied to 1 or more photos) and see the changes effect all of the photos currently using it?

Is there a way to retain the masks and apply them in Photoshop?

Hello! I did all these steps but my masking option is greyed out in both ACR and LR... how can I enable it? I have the updated versions of both softwares and when I go to create the preset, "mask" is greyed out so I cant even check the box.

I am opening pics in Lightroom classic but it is not giving me person mask option only subject. No sub with eyes, hair, etc. Can you suggest what can I do?

Hi there Colin The new masking feature in Camera Raw is exceptionally important, but what if I want to "use the mask" created in Camera Raw on Photoshop layers or any other adjusment layers? would it be possible? (to extract the Mask produced outside of Camera Raw)

Is it possible to copy a mask from a camera raw into a regular photoshop document?
