I hope the cardinals keep the alternate red uniforms for years to come.
This is first year I recall them ever wearing red uniforms, while other red teams like the Angels, Reds, and Nationals wear them all the time.

Good old Jo Jo almost blew another game for Sonny in the 8th. Amazing Kittridge held them to only 2 runs.... somebody needs to tell Romero he doesnt have to strike everyone out and stop walking guys in the late innings. Good to see they are playing good! Gotta beat the good teams to win at the end of the season.

When Edman comes back he'll give Gorman a break @ 2B. Gorman has played a lot. He has a sweet swing, but he's a little streaky<for as many HR's as he hits> and strikes out a lot. When Contreras comes back, what will be the play w/ Herrera & Pages? I do think a bona-fide 5th starter would help esp. since the Steven Matz project is probably a wrap. I don't think they can keep spots. Now w/ Donnie & Burly showing they can be everyday guys, that only leaves CF. Edman can play CF, but he's really a RF or 2B guy.
