Gotta admit I seen a lot of different people play the same songs on clawhammer banjo videos, and Josh tears this one up as one of the best of 'em.

Very nice version of Turkey in the Straw.   I printed the tab, and as I started practicing I found myself almost unconsciously substituting a drop thumb for most of the hammer-ons.  I know that a lot of folks shy away from drop-thumb, but to me it seemed easier.

Thanks again for taking the time to put out these videos. Can you tell me how to get the tab of Turkey in the Straw? I am on your lesson seven and a subscriber, but I can't find it. Again, thanks for the time you put in to these videos, you just don't know the smile you put on my face once the second lesson in lesson six finally came together! A true sense of accomplishment because of your lessons!

Josh, I love your tunes of the week -- thanks for putting these out there. With regard to this tune, I am not sure I understand your explanation of alternate string hammer ons and pull offs. Any additional explanation would be much appreciated. Thanks!
