2 killed in wrong-way crash

Two people died when a wrong-way driver crashed into a box truck on the 118 Freeway in Porter Ranch early Sunday morning. March 5, 2023.

You have to be extremely intoxicated or suicidal for this to happen because all the reflectors are red when you drive the wrong way on the freeways.

I was looking at how many wrong way drivers on the 118 fwy and within the Porter Ranch area and there has been several. If I were to guess and I would almost bet money on my theory... just slightly west of Porter Ranch, you have both and entrance and exit ramp at the De Soto Ave. I might assume that an intoxicated driver wanting to head west on 118, could easily miss the on-ramp by just a few feet and enter the 118 fwy De Soto exit. Its unfortunate and will probably happen many more times, sadly.
