With a few modifications (i.e. adding custom interior pockets to suit my personal needs, as well as a rear zippered pocket), this has become my perfect bag. I searched for YEARS to find a decent bag I'd be happy with, but everything commercial fell short. Now I have exactly the bag I want, and I even have strangers stopping me in public to comment on my gorgeous bag -- they're always surprised when I say I made it myself! 😃

When you topstitch around the top of the bag (almost finished, right side out), do you catch the lining into that seam? Otherwise the lining is baggy on the inside. I think I'm going to unpick my topstitching and try to catch in the lining.
