Trying Costa Instant Hot Chocolate (Review)

After trying the disappointing Starbucks instant hot chocolate it seemed only fair to try the leading competitors instant hot chocolate produced by Costa Coffee. Trying this Costa instant hot chocolate and giving you guys my honest review was fun and as I have tried more than twenty different hot chocolate products from the supermarket as well as our homemade ones; I am developing a complex palette for it and I'm sure that this is one of many to come! Spoiler alert; this product is one of the best instant hot chocolate powders on the market, I was very impressed and didn't expect it at all. I like to have mine with frothy barista oat or almond milk.

I tried it with hot water and was unimpressed. I'd give it 2/10 with hot water. Haven't tried it with milk yet. Try the M&S one - that is much better.

Ive just come on YouTube to see if im doing something crazy wrong when making Costa hot chocolate. Heated mug of milk, stirred in 4 spoonfuls, stirred endlessly and it all just stuck to spoon. Tried again, with 2/3 hot milk and stirred in powder whilst simultaneously adding1/3 just boiled water. Shocked tobfind no difference. Stirred with longer spoon, usedca mini whisk. Seriously, i can't get the stuff to dissolve. Would love to know the right technique. I love Costa and am well confused! 👍
