This was hysterically accurate. As someone who works for a large German bank in NYC I see this look a lot, especially with friends who work at Chase and Citi. Personally I think it’s a bit sloppy so I still opt for suits and cufflinks for a more polished European look.

Excellent point about wool, James. As a resident of Florida, I occasionally wear lightweight wool and have no problem with the heat. However, I have become a big believer in linen, especially with our recent 100° weather. Another great video!

(and I say this as a friendly advice, not to critique you). The reason for this is mainly, that if you hold your glass by the stem it won't warm up your drink as fast and also looks classier. Well put together. True wealth is always subtle, with tell-tale signs. As one ages, tassel loafers, Rolex Submariners/Datejusts/Explorers, etc. are added to the ensemble. As well as the classic navy blue blazer which can be added and worn anywhere with high quality tan/gray pants (chinos for more casual) and even high quality jeans. Always worn with an oxford shirt (Polo / Brooks Brothers is very common).
All very classic, not flashy at all....but speaks volumes.
