But yet this governor wants to pardon a ex cop who was convicted of murder of an innocent man. He follows the law and trust in the judicial system he says. This is wrong on so many levels. My prayers ate with Marcellus.🙏🏿🙏🏿

Why is it they wait 20 years to execute someone? They can change a lot in 20 years. The death penalty should be carried out within 6 months of conviction!

I've looked at some of the documents in this case, and from what I've seen it certainly appears that he committed the crime. Most incriminating is that he sold the victim's husband's laptop that had been taken from the crime scene, then tried to explain that away by saying he got the stolen item from his girlfriend (who had previously turned him in to the cops.) Also, the unofficial confessions made by MW to his gf (and another) related detailed and accurate information about the crime that was not public knowledge. I understand the reticence to administer the death penalty when there are unanswered questions, but are there enough questions to establish reasonable doubt? I can't answer this, but I think the efforts to stop his execution have been hampered by advocates claiming he's innocent. They should've approached it strictly from humanitarian grounds. I hope Mr. MW can get right with God in has last moments.
