Authenticity: The Personal Outcome of Peacemaking
Показать описание
How can you and your team build a culture of Authenticity to improve company performance?
This video outlines the personal outcome of the virtue of Peacemaking, "Authenticity," which can be best defined as the bestselling author and Wharton Business School professor, Adam Grant, puts it, “Authenticity means erasing the gap between what you firmly believe inside and what you reveal to the outside world.”
In other words, Authenticity means that if you believe there’s a problem, don’t suppress or ignore it. Bring it out into the open to “erase the gap” between what you think, do and say.
Virtue-Based Background:
Our virtue-based journey is the product of a pause.
For several years, we’d been studying eight virtues discovered in the Book of Matthew. Over time, we began to see how these same virtues could also be foundational for any organization, including ours.
They have become our guiding principles for how we work together and for how we serve our clients.
We’ve seen how these virtues and their corresponding vices apply to situations people struggle with every day. As a result, we integrated the virtues as a critical part of our retention strategy. By adhering to the virtues we are able to help companies and business owners keep their best people, grow and protect the value of their business, and successfully transition out of their company.
Using the “Great 8 Leadership Virtues” as our foundation, our model helps to connect the dots between a virtuous culture and real-world business value.
Ultimately, we want to be able to provide our clients with the ability to share their legacy. And we are forever grateful to have that opportunity.
