Watching producer Dan Curtis interview in Kolchak The Night Stalker TV movie The Night Strangler reference this as his baby - it got him a name as a producer

I watched this series religiously in the '60s. It's very hard to find anything on it, though.

500 yard par 5 and they hit a drive, then a lau-up and still had 85 yard to the pin. today in 2022 the drive would be between 310 and 365 and the second shot would be hit with a wedge to an 8 iron. It ain't golf nomore
