What to See in Sardinia - (Part one) Nuraghi and Tombs of Giants - Prehistoric Sites. Sardinia is much more than crystal clear water and sandy beaches. Sardinia is an ancient island and there are incredible archeological sites. So if you are visiting the island that is something that you want to see as well. The Nuraghi civilization is incredibly old more than 4000 years ago during the bronze age, There are thousands of Nuraghi in Sardinia and if you are looking for what to see in Sardinia during your stay you should definitely consider Nuraghi. Nuraghes are giant towers built with massive stones without cement. They are as old as Stonehenge in England. Some of then are quite well preserved and easy to visit. Another important archeological site from the same era are the Tumbs of Giants. These incredibly big megalithic structures are a must see while on the island and are quite peculiar. In this episode of what to see in Sardinia we will show you a couple of Nuraghe and Tumbs of Giants near the town of Arzachena in the north east part of Sardinia. Some Ancient Aliens theorists also think that there is a link between the nuragic civilization and the Aliens in a distant past of Sardinia.

About us:
In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists – but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.
After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew – and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.
