I don't shop at stay because they have high prices on their stuff. I heard that they are closing up and trying to get their inventory down. I miss Paco, I still look for him on his own little bed. He was so sweet. Love you💖

This is going to be a harsh comment but it seems to be the consensus in the comments; that first box was a total rip off and that seller should be ashamed of themselves!! That is absolutely disgusting to charge someone that amount for what they sent. 🤮 I’m upset for you! Thank you for providing us with honest reviews and great content regardless of the slimy sellers. My condolences on Paco’s passing. 💐 🐾 💕

Some people have no shame in ripping people off. I would be sure to leave a review. These kinds of sellers should not be allowed to have a shop. Charging that much for Dollar Tree products would never be worth the scoop, even if it was done with a shovel!

That's disappointing. Etsy isn't what it use to be for sure. Years ago it was mostly handmade and vintage, but now there are a lot of sellers that re-sell things from Alibaba and Wish type sites. Definitely still good things on there, but a lot of low quality too. Hope you're doing okay. ❤

All of it looked like Dollar Tree/store to me, even 5 Below or Temu. I was on Etsy site 1 time, closed it right out. 😢 I don't blame you for being disappointed

i hope your doing ok Melissa, i feel your pain, I will be in your shoes soon enough, my fur boy has 3- 6 months to live he has lymphoma cancer in his neck. he is 17 yrs old. I'm devastated. my prayers are with you and rob.😭🐶🐕🦮

That first box had dollar store items and was certainly not worth the money! Definitely one to avoid

Omg Melissa… that first bag… 😬😬😬 maybe equaled $10 max… i would be embarrassed to send something like that for almost $50! Yikes… that second 2 boxes wasn’t great either. You usually have awesome luck getting valuable mystery boxes. Guess we can’t have it great all the time huh 😂

I have to say, when it comes to Etsy mystery boxes, I've only had luck with Halloween / Horror themed ones! Definitely a hit or miss! 😄

I think that there’s funny sleeve things that you’ve got in one of the boxes might be driving sleeves. Some people cover their arms when they’re driving to protect from sun. I’m not in that camp but I know some people are

That is such a shame about the Etsy mystery boxes Melissa. I really cannot understand why you received cheap mass produced tat from China, instead of some lovely handmade goodies which is what Etsy should be about. They give the rest of us genuine crafters and artists a bad name. There are so many really good sellers who create beautiful handmade items that are definitely worth every penny and NOT mass produced. I am an Etsy seller myself and I create all sorts of handmade goodies, from bunting to junk journaling supplies. I repurpose, up-cycle old vintage books, ephemera, fabrics, lace, ribbons and costume jewellery into journals or things to go into journals. I also create digital journal kits so people can download the images, print them out and make them into their own journals or journal inserts. One of my best sellers is a small mystery bundle made up of lots of vintage journalling goodies. I make them up in such a way that within the parcel there are more little parcels or envelopes or little boxes all made by me using old book pages, vintage ephemera etc. They are so popular many people come back to buy more. Sadly, yes there are people who just sell mass produced plastic rubbish, but with a little research they are very easy to spot a mile off. I buy all my birthday & Christmas gifts from Etsy and have never been disappointed. It is also nice knowing that I am supporting a small private business like my own. Please don't let these awful mystery boxes put you off Etsy as with a little checking you will find the real craft artistic sellers are still here (0; xxx

Your have such an amazing outlook. I've seem most of those items at the Dollar Store. It's sad how people seem to think it's ok to charge this much for Dollar Store items. Hugs
