It's funny how the universe works--the experiences of those who have had NDE's often times includes what we would call reincarnation, or past lives, but what they talk about doesn't really make sense with either Christianity or Judaism, or even Buddhism or Hinduism, at least as I understand those religions. In other words, what's been expressed just doesn't seem to fit in any category of religion or spiritual wisdom that I've come across. But then when you and Peter stated that whether we have lived once, or 400 times, it doesn't matter. Past lives are PAST, they can't be changed, they can't be studied, and a vast majority of us have absolutely no knowledge if we even pre-existed. So what? What truly matters is what is going on in the here & now, and getting back to the ONE. Now that made sense! And that does correlate to what the great teachers of Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism teach: the past really doesn't matter, what matters is what you want your future to be. Not so much your earthly future, which we only have limited control over anyway, but your spiritual future. There are still some questions I have about this, but this video cleared up a lot of my mis-understandings. Right now, just work on being a "being of light". That works for me!

I experienced feelings like what you guys talk about during my first spiritual awakening at 15 yrs old. I sure wish I could get back to those feelings and perspective. Hearing you guys talk about it helps me feel validated that I didnt make these feelings up.

I worked in the himalayas. One master said he found it interesting that westerners in NDE often had a tunnel experience, as for them they know there is no place to go. eg Tibetan Book of the Dead (Thurman verson). They have more understanding that ultimately all mind is projection, your experience depends on your karma, level of consciousness etc. They did say something like on the other side you are automatically 9x more intelligent. From earth it is all about praying for the person to have a good transition/ rebirth, not us demanding that come visit us etc.

Wondering if the feeling of "dissociation from the body" in both your NDE's is similar to the dissociation from the body that occurs in what psychiatry calls a "dissociative episode". I've experienced that kind of episode, and it is very strange and leaves you with the feeling that "you" have nothing at all do to with the body.

I feel so blessed to come across this information. Before I heard of nde I had prayed to God to prepair me to death in order that I would not fear and that I could live with out fear of death. And very shortly after that, I learnt about nde. I think it was thru the interviews at Wisdom of North that I 'met' Anita Modrijan(I dont remamber how to spell), , Dr Eben Alexander, you and two other experiencers with beautiful stories whose names, unfortunatly, I don't recall right now.
