According to the Bible, Abraham almost sacrificed his son Isaac, but an angel stopped him and Abraham offered a ram as a substitute. This story is told in Genesis 22

God calls Abraham in order to test him to see if he loves the Creator over the fallen creature. God stopped him (Mid-stab) and told him to sacrifice the ram nearby instead which symbolized the lamb of God who was prophesied to come later and die on the cross for the sins of the world: 🔥Jesus Christ🔥
