Senior Red Panda Moshu Gets Extra Special Care As He Ages

A recent health diagnosis has changed Moshu's routine, but the aging red panda still enjoys apple snacks and plenty of naps.

Moshu!!🥰🥰 oh my goodness he is such a handsome distinguished Pake(grandpa)it’s so difficult watching our beloved animals age as mom to a pup who will be 14 next week(she will be getting some chicken nuggets and a little vanilla ice cream for her birthday🤩)I see the different effects as well and do various things to keep her happy and comfortable including gabapentin and turmeric.I fully believe that if you make a commitment to an animal that it should be a promise for as long as they are willing to stay with you and given this sweet boy’s age it’s beyond evident that Oregon Zoo has taken their commitment to Moshu above and beyond which truly makes me tear up so thank you to M’s keepers and vet team for providing him top notch care and for obviously loving him deeply he’s living his best senior life.❤️❤️🤗🤗
