I know people have their reservations, but I am super hyped. It looks really cool!

The things I've been craving for in a modern Sonic game:

1. A story that isn't laughable and knows exactly what tone it wants to be

2. Knuckles, if involved, is actually seen guarding the Master Emerald like he's supposed to

3. A return to 3D

4. Sonic Team taking a risk by treading new ground

5. The Chaos Emeralds being relevant to the plot again, eluding to a Super Sonic appearance

I'm on board with this, so far. Apparently we'll get a story trailer tomorrow, probably in the Summer Games Fest. Good luck, Ian Flynn. I'm counting on you.

Honestly, out of all the things they have shown for frontiers, the fact that lan Flynn (hope I wrote that right) is writing the story, is still the best thing I've seen about this game. I really hope sega doesn't hold him back by forcing in some BS like "oh, sonic can't be anything but happy" or anything like that. Honestly, I'm surprised they let him use the master emerald at all. Although that could mean that they just let him have free range with the story, which is a good thing. I'm really looking forward to this game.

There could be three campaigns, for the three characters... I shouldn't set myself for disappointment, but here we are.

There was a leaked synopsis of Frontiers that said that Eggman took control of an ancient AI technology, which was probably what separated Sonic, Tails and Amy

Like everyone else I really want tails and Amy to be playable, it'd be a really good addition. Like when you save them you get to run around in a sandbox mode or they get added onto your team for battle

I can't help but keep thinking that the glitchy effects, red/magenta colours, and now portals, might link back to the Phantom Ruby in some way. I know many fans would be up in arms for daring to use anything from Forces (we already had that response to the model), but in the IDW Flynn has shown that he can take aspects from weaker games and do them better. In this case he might bring in some actual lore concerning the ruby, possibly even giving it some connection to the emeralds - the ruby did first appear on Angel Island in Mania after all.

First of all... They already confirmed the voice in the trailer was Amy
Secondly I actually came up with a theory. That what if Sonic friends and Eggman were fighting when some sort of accident happened. Leading to the Wormhole which lead to Starfall Islands. So what if the wormhole and Starfall Islands are both the AI/main antagonist. And based on leaks it sounds like Amy and the AI are 2 different people. So what if the AI who's friends with you is a virus who wants freedom from the Starfall techonology whatever it is and happens to meet Sonic who out of the goodness of his heart is willing to help her despite not knowing 100% what's going on

I kinda wanna see Hyper Sonic again (which I know won't be happening but I'd love to be proven wrong), and I am more of a lore-thirsty person. Lore is one of the main reasons why I play video games, and that would be awesome if Amy and Tails were the A.I. But The Master Emerald is back and Knuckles is ACTUALLY guarding it. I will be getting my hands on this game in November in no time. Great video by the way!

It’s refreshing to hear someone with a positive out look on the game giving everything we’ve heard/seen in the past week.
I am also very interested in the story this time around. I hope Ian Flynn strikes a Sonic Battle level of seriousness in the plot with funny/natural character behavior and interactions.( I’ve often felt people should remember the Sonic battle story when it comes to serious and light hearted Sonic plots as I think this game had the most balanced representation other than Unleashed).

The "It's too dangerous" at the very end was still Amy's voice in the Xbox trailer teaser! Tails had never communicated in our knowledge he could most likely do in the game
