Good faith question here. I have a 2025 cf slx8 and to adjust saddle tilt one needs to adjust the screw in the rear of the saddle, the one you loosened adjusts fore/aft. Two distinct screws drive the adjustments, independently. The one in the rear is torqued to 12 nm, the one OP adjusted is to 5 nm. OP had mentioned he’s had his Aeroad for a year or so, so maybe the adjustment screw in the rear of the post was added this model year? But wasn’t that way in the past? Otherwise, there’s a better way my bruh.

if you actually remove the seat clamp and clean it re install that stubborness goes away and becomes very smoove every time you want to angle your saddle. Trust me, I was doing the same until I switched to a carbon rail clamp. I think it is just "baked" in from factory build.
