Its my dream to own a Viper jet with a custom paint scheme. I joined the Navy in 2003 as an air traffic controller and was stationed at multiple military airfields and aviation support ships. The Tomcat was phased out around the time I joined so all hopes of flying her was lost. I then spend 11 years drooling over the newly introduced Super hornet which became my new fav. I never had the fortitude to fully commit to making my dream of being a fighter pilot a reality. Partly because I knew deep down, that I did not have the heart required to potentially employ weapons against an enemy one day. I both respect and admire those who do, but this is an act that would weigh too heavy on my mind in my late years. So I sabotaged my own progress with procrastination in order to preserve my mental peace and clarity down the road. None the less, the desire to soar in the clouds and view the world from such a spectacular vantage point has never left me. To become a recreational pilot and be able to take control of such a beautiful aircraft as a Viper would be a fulfilling experience. My only hope is to become wealthy enough to afford the purchase, training, maintenance, and usage costs of owning such a coveted treasure. I would love to find an experienced veteran pilot of high performance aircraft to personally train me and bring me up to speed. I would also want a in house aviation mechanic that is knowledgeable of and extremely confident they can keep this bird air worthy. You guys are really living the dream. One

I began to think this bird was back in production until I read the comments. It would be nice to see a revamped version of this make a comeback. Have the original designers thought about improving upon its platform and bringing it back to market again?

Good morning sir... Thanks so much for working on this project... Will you offer training and type rating on the viperjet to the clients? and what are the requirements to have the type rating for it and fly solo? Does it need ppl +1000 hours like L-39 to fly solo?

I have heard that they are still in the Tri-Cities working on a new version including a fan jet.

I don’t suppose a ballistic recovery shoot would be a possibility for this aircraft it’s the next best thing to an ejection seat .

Wonder how much they cost it would be a handy trainer/light jet fighter plane for world wide export. Canada could consider the plane for trainer jet plane if I had a pilot license and the money I'd buy one.

Incredible performance, but a very temperamental machine. It's a diva, and you have to treat it like a diva.
