Alhamdulillah me & the Dr came into Islam almost the same way, my aunt was moving & had a translation of the Quran, she was abt 2 throw it out & asked if I've wanted it & I said yes, I started reading & it was done deal..I took my shahada over the phone with someone I think in the middle east, they sent me a box of books, Alhamdulillah, Allah Akbar.

When I was at university and learning about the brain i.e the frontal lobe and it's function, I was amazed that it was also mentioned in the Quran as sinful lying forelock where God will pull us out with (paraphrasing). I remember asking my tafeer teacher meaning of the word used in the Quran used for "forelock" because I was so convinced God was talking about the frontal lobe, but I was told it meant forehead. Frontal lobe is what we use to reason with, to make our decisions. I am so glad someone else is echoeing my thoughts and this person is a doctor. Subhan Allah! For me that was proof Quran is from God.
