I consider Citi to be a very underrated setup. If you're thinking just the Citi trifecta, you're missing out. I'm very excited to get my hands on the Strata Premier in a couple weeks. I consider the Citi Magnificent 5 to be the best credit card setup within a single family of cards we've all been waiting for.

The Citi Premier has been replaced by the Citi Strata Premier for all. The new Strata Premier card adds 3X on EV and the 10X on Hotels and car rentals through the Citi Portal is an ongoing feature. The Strata Premier also comes with travel benefits: Trip Delay (6hrs), Trip Interruption and Cancellation, luggage loss or damage and rental CDW. I'll need to read the fine print to determine if primary or secondary and will update here.

Honestly I think this is the best setup for me. Was leaning toward chase but I can't STAND rotating cards(flex). The idea of having 1 double cash, 2 custom cash for groceries and gas and then the premier seems perfect. Thanks for the info and helping my decision.

I didn’t start with chase either
I got my first Citi double cash
Trying for my second Custom then Citi Strata
Citi is my replacement for Chase cards

If i wanted to get this set up, Should I not apply for any consumer card within 6- 9 months or do not apply for any citi cards in the 6-9 months?
I already have the strada premier and 1 custom cash . And I have a business citi american airlines card

I'm on the fast lane to the Citi Magnificent Five! Just got approved for my third Citi personal card in the past 90-100 days.🙌🏼 75K offer on Citi AA Platinum Select on 9/29. First two were the Strata Premier & Double Cash (approved on 6/7, 6/24 respectively) Especially pleased considering how stringent and somewhat unpredictable Citi can be on approvals. I was lucky that the AA cards showed up on the Citis prequalified offers with the prescreen website, which provoked me to shoot my shot! Will mostly product change it to another Custom Cash after its anniversary. (first CCC was on March 2022)
