Hey fellow coin hunter, I just got a 55 red ms ddo. I've had a few coin experts look at it and they said it was the best strike ddo they ever saw and they saw quite a few of them. Thank you for reviewing this coin. Your the best!!

My grandfather passed away when I was 10, I have many fond memories of him. He was a good man .. my grandmother passed away about 15 yrs ago, I will be 53 this month. My father died 9 years ago unexpectedly. A couple years before he passed away he told me to go through my grandmother's stuff that she had in storage for 26 years and I could have whatever I wanted he said there's probably some real treasures in there. Oh I found is a bunch of semi-precious jewelry and a bag of pennies. I thought okay well I'll keep the pennies I mean it's money lol . So I've had this bag of pennies for 12 or 13 years and recently got into coin collecting due to an injury, it was something to do. So I've been collecting what I can modestly afford, and I ran across this bag of pennies again . I checked them out and they're all 83, 84 and 85 . I recently got a cheap coin scope and all of the 83 and 84 are doubled . I probably have 60 or 70 or more of each in very nice condition . I don't know what to make of the 85 I probably have a 150 of them . I'm trying to figure out what to do with all of them .I'm overwhelmed

Bluerigde, just wanted to mention, had you not described the difference between the old doubled die and the newer modern day coin doubled die coin, I never would have determined the difference. In fact, I through several back into the pile to be returned in that I wasn't sure of what I was looking at. As usual, thanks for the education, you've been of tremendous help. Good luck !
