Welcome to my Project Zomboid Tips for beginners Series! We are kicking off this series with settings I suggest when starting zomboid (as a beginner) and why as well as suggested traits and occupations (and why), traits that I avoid, what towns are best for beginners and what items you should look for immediately when starting out. I've also peppered in a few random tips here and there as well.

Good tip on the starting Strength and Athletic. It takes MONTHS of exercising to go from Athletic 6 to 7.

I was setting up my base in the second floor of the hotel next to the gas station in Muldraugh. I had destroyed the stairs and set up ropes. But I had a corpse on the patio. Pro tip. Don't burn corpses there.

I spent the rest of the day watching the whole hotel burn

Great video informationally, only gripe is that in the last half of the video the audio balance isn't quite right making it harder to hear you over the loud music

I am a broken record about early game tips...
TV shows, tv shows & tv shows. :) Listening to them all while finding a couple of cars and some loot is my preferred start.

Nice vid man, dunno if its just me though but the background music was a bit overpowering and sometimes It made it hard to hear you / was generally off putting as I was trying to listen. Great tips otherwise :)

Not sure about slow reader, yeah you can speed up time but it'll still take longer to read the book. Setting up on the game I like to adjust the 24 hour PZ day from the standard 1 hour to 3 hours in real time. It just feels a tad more realistic, you can get more done in a day. Some ret gud tips there Drunk. I even learned a couple of things I didn't know. Cheers.

As a new player. I would have killed for a video that explained showed the little things of operation like how to cook. How to use washer snd dryer. Combining soaps how to work cars etc.

well im starting this game and their is WAY too much zombie in this beta. I dont know if i have a bug but ever if i choose normal zombie or low zombie, its always the same amount of zombie outside
