The section from about 2:05-2:15 is a good reflection of what homelessness was like for me. As a middle-class woman I was once homeless, with two small children. The shame was so hard to bear it was difficult to ask for help. I didn't know what to do, where to go, what to say, who to ask... and we did also eventually eat food others had thrown away. We got better, as she did. But that was a hard time.

That idea is wonderful! It´s great for students like me who don´t know anything about this language! With this video I can read and hear how the words are spoken! Really good exercise for me!

I don't understand y anyone would dislike this book. I read it quite fast enjoyed the story, brontes use of language and vocabulary.

Free classic audio book, not much to unlike there.

Times change the reader not the book. If you didnt enjoy that is your right. When you think that this book was written by a shy gentle woman when women didnt write books the book is a true gem.
