With its cinematographic pace, abundant leitmotifs and massive orchestrations, Puccini renewed and transcended Italian melodrama and the verismo genre. Sondra Radvanovsky, Joseph Calleja and Carlos Álvarez lead this operatic thriller in the midst of a revolution, under the direction of Paco Azorín and the baton of Nicola Luisotti.

My God, what poetry is that, what a wonderful soprano, actress and artist! Was fortunate enough to see Sondra sing Norma at the House in London and she was quite simply superb, please continue to inspire and enthral.

Sondra Is not only the greatest opera singer of our times in her repertoire, but she also is a beautiful and insightful human being ... how lucky we are to live in her times and to be able to witness her art ... BTW, IMHO she is just the best Tosca EVER nothing less ... (and Aida and Leonora .... as much as I praise L Price - and others of this "legendary category" - in these parts)

I disagree, Sondra, at least Tosca is in my eyes a silly cow. She alone is to blame for all the trouble in this opera, only because of her silly and unjustified jealousy the whole drama, all the death are caused!
