In our home we have both top load washing machine(which is 5000/- bought in 2015) and a front load washing machine(11, 000/- bought in 2011). We used to wash our clothes in front load machine earlier but our clothes were not completely free of dirt. Especially whiter clothes they used to look light brown). After that we bought top load machine which is way cheaper than the front load, but our clothes were completely free of dirt and they were looking completely white. Since then we are using top load machine for washing the clothes and front load for rinsing or spinning the clothes.

Precise comparison. Also in places of hard water, Top load is better. Front load machines will require descaling often. We have an LG machine as TDS is almost 800-1000 in our area and I don't remember the last time we used a descaler in it.

Saumya, I am sorry but don't agree on certain points. Most people miss out on very important aspect to consider while using front load washing machine is that you need to bend a lot more while loading and unloading. This becomes important thing, especially if one is over 40 years. I am a health care professional and have had patients complaining of backpain while operating front load machine due to bending down. Also it's a misconception that top load washing machines cause wear and tear of clothes. I have been using to load machine for well over 20 years and never had such issues, In fact my work clothes last really long.

You forgot to add in by saying, front load washing machine always then to break down easily. Yes! Although front loading are much convenience to load in laundry and eadiky retrieved to dry, but if broke down the bill is very hefty.

4 if you have back pain and can't bend then go for top load, especially for older people

Top load is best technically and price wise also. Top load easy for service, parts easily available.
Using samsung since last 20 yrs with no major issues

The thing about top loader is some of the items do float and doesn’t get wash thoroughly. As we have top loader washing machine so now I’m curious about front loader machines

If we want to make a slab above washing machine we need front load machine. I replaced my top load by front load machine 5 years back just for this reason. My top load was in good condition only 6 years used. Now I keep my utensils dish drainer and microwave on top of the extra counter created over the washing machine area.

Less water consumption (a big advantage)
Less electricity
Better Wash - the Dhobi style wash cleans up stains real nice
Slightly better Dried & untangled clothes at the end of cycle
Much Silent wash

Front load is nothing but trouble...it uses antigravity...the door is a nightmare.. vibration...it uses less water not less electricity...a dryer on top of another machine is hazardous..and causes loads of 🔥 problems...

Top load is better in every way and it takes much more cloth load...you can wash a carpet in it...

Both machine all good bt u must have knowledge about machine..
When u take machine take extended warranty nd
After 2 ya 3 years...change suspension nd ..service..
If you never do....machine drum will go..
