There’s always an air of silent confidence and no nonsense in him even back then. The rise he has is insanely meteoric to say the least when you look back. Only had 20+ single seater races, skipped F3000(nowadays GP2/F2) and came to F1 a year later, 2 years later driving for a top 3 team, 3 years later challenging one of the all time greats to the last race. His rise to the top is unreal and quite generational like given his insane natural speed. Not even talented drivers like Sebastian Vettel or Max Verstappen had this type of meteoric rise as Kimi had.

I do agree Raikkonen in his career and his prime was better than Alonso and Verstappen do not know why people overhype Alonso.
