Can't wait til it arrives at my doorstep!! 😁😁

You should never regret buying quality art supplies! The only money wasted on art supplies is when the supplies are un-used! I do not doubt that you will use these pencils! I swatched my watercolor pencils and did the concentrated color to thinned wash of color on watercolor paper. You are not alone in your swatching love of supplies! I am looking forward to seeing the video where you put these pencils to use! Thank you for sharing your wonderful swatching experience.

Just getting back to my youth and drawing. I still have my set of 60 i got in 1985. It was Berol Prismacolor then. I cant wait to get the whole set. I can just look at them for hours lol.

Prismacolors are some of the best colored pencils but color pencils hurt my hand when I press down hard so I feel comfortable using alcohol markers more. Having more colors in any medium is always satisfying and soothing to the eye as well as more options to create complex, beautiful art. I do hate that the pencils so break so often. The great thing about your purchase is that you now have endless possibilities! 😁

I just got the colored pencils, and OMG THEY ARE SO NICE! You made me wanna get them. I love Magenta, Yellowed Orange, Sunburst Yellow, Parrot Green, True Blue, Lilac, and Pink

I finally splurged and bought the 150 set today. Along with the accessory set, 3 new binders of Strathmore paper, and some black fine tip markers, and a box colored markers as well. I am all set for winter and beyond. So excited haha. Been wanting this set for years 😄☺️💕⭐

Well, lilac is a light purple going to the blue.
Lavender is a light purple that tends to The red. So they are correct. Dioxazine purple Hue is a amaizong pure purple. Grey green light is so cute!

I'm an extremely armature artist but this was a very fun video to watch as I have intents to purchase this set, one thing I will note though is that I think neon colors are best incorporated through haze ya know. Like a fire through a wall of mist could potentially use neon orange. That's not to say there aren't better options but still.

I’m just getting started with this set and I’m swatching this weekend! I got some advice from a student who is now an art teacher, that I should get Arteza and some white pencils, but I decided to go big or go home. I got this kit, and in addition got the portrait kit (I will be doing a lot of faces when a special coloring book arrives), the manga kit to supplement, the 36 Verithins, and the landscaping set. I also got accessories, and a couple of instruction books and extra coloring books to practice on. I got accessories too. I am ready to go when the book arrives! I really want to do justice to it! I have what I need for that coloring book. My disappointment is that there is no portrait kit for complexions of color. I hope that one of the books I picked up will address the issue! I also will need to color men, and it’s hard to find coloring books with men instead of female angels and fairies and what-not. I might get one or two more small sets because I like the categorization for each subject matter happy coloring!❤️

Depending on the type of paper, just about any colored pencil brand can be slightly less than marvelous. But the opposite is also true. It can be like discovering colored pencils anew with .can be very satisfying. Yes, I find French Grays.somehow remind me of wood smoke in the sun. It was nice to watch you open your pencils and do your swatches. Have fun!

the different grays seem to have undertones of the three primary colors in them. warm gray is red, cool gray is blue and french gray is yellow.

For the neon pencil, you could use them for any neon light in a drawing like a neon sign or something😅 (would be best on black paper)

Thanks 🙂 this was really helpful. I’m missing about 50 colours and seeing them on your swatch I was able to substitute them with other brands for a similar colour.
For a sharpener I use the Dahle 133. Never have breakage.

I actually like the prismacolor sharpener but I haven’t tried it with the prismacolor pencils yet. I figure if it’s excellent for my basic crayola and crayola signature it must be excellent for their own brand pencils too
